Bonjour! is a famous greeting you are bound to hear chanted in the corridors of St. Brigid's Girls, signaling the notable and thriving presence of French in the school. Being one of the optional subjects offered, it has experienced a generous influx over the years. Boosting of over 155 students who pursue for various reasons: as a booster subject, to boost their dream careers and others simply find it easy and fun to learn.
French is learnt in 4 dimensions of skills: Grammar, Orals, Listening and Writing. These skills are acquired through fun oral and written productions, listening to french audios, watching french videos and actively participating in French Days activities. This has ensured consistent, excellent results in the national exams, with a minimum of 9.7 and the highs of 11.85 in the recent years. This has henceforth boosted many students in landing their dream courses leading to their desired careers and also empowering their international marketability across career paths.
