“ONWARD AND UPWARD-OUR MANTRA”

Every child is like a unique tree in the forest that needs special care. To achieve an equitable society in the twenty first century, there is need to offer all round education to enable the girl child fit and effectively tackle all the contemporary challenges and global demands. To realize this; St. Brigid's Girls High School Kiminini is utilizing a multi thronged approach;
1. Equity for all - We endeavor to uniquely provide a level playing field for all girls by providing a diet that is acceptable and ideal to all. As a matter of fact, we have no school canteen neither do we encourage parents buying or bringing food stuffs to their children at school. To do this and succeed, even the very needy have a chance to belong and do very well.
2. Responsiveness -The entire school is sensitive to the needs of clients. To this end, children contribute money to help educate the needy ones among them and also donate basic needs towards this noble goal. ALSO, our caring staff donate money to educate needy students.
3. Academic process - The school has grown in Leaps and Bounds over the last five (5) years to the current position 6 (SIX) nationally and being the 2nd best Girls school in the country. Our girls have posted very impressive and admirable results. Results in all areas, and interestingly sciences are considered boosters by the students. We have laid down plans to be Kenya One School by 2025.
4. Holistic teaching- The school offers a wide and rich curriculum that also includes pragmatic subjects like Home science, Music and foreign language." Our vibrant and dynamic teaching force has a Teaching Policy they observe and Exam Policy that are fully utilized to assure the good results. 5. Team work -The acronym 'team' means together each achieves much, this has been realized by PA rallying full and unwavering support to.... and management to teach devoid of conflicts. We are also implementing good student-teacher motivation scheme that inspires.

6. Discipline The school boasts of students who know and do what they ought to do without much supervision. You hardly notice any girl walking on the compound much despite having over one thousand (1000) girls.
The PA and BOM are decisive in handling indiscipline issues. Robust mentorships have been put in place not only to boost academic but also scholarly behavior in the students making it easier for teachers to teach with less distractors.
7. Co-curricular Our girls participate in various sporting and co- curricular activities that help them nurture their different skills. As per the CBC mantra, we endeavor to enable our girls change their passion to profession. Talents pay best.
Therefore, helping our girls grow talents and their education prowess concurrently will enable them maximize their potentials hence our desire for "giving holistic education to nurture a 2st Girl Child".
